I’m Kecia, founder of TerraPath Global Journeys, a boutique Virtuoso travel agency crafting journeys for travelers who seek authentic experiences. I am passionate about connecting people with places in ways that feel intentional, enriching and real.
For me, travel isn’t just about seeing new places. It’s about stepping into the life of a destination, meeting the people who shape it, and experiencing it on its own terms. I travel to learn about people, cultures, nature, and the realities beyond my own borders. Travel reminds me that the world is bigger than my everyday life, and it carries a responsibility: to visit with respect, tread lightly, and support the places I visit and love rather than take from them.
My path has always centered on health, education, and advocacy. I’ve worked as a research assistant, then as a registered dietitian specializing in diabetes management and heart disease, and now channel those skills into travel advising. I seek authentic experiences, and I’m committed to promoting communities, culture, nature, and sustainability in the itineraries I design and promote.
With an advanced degree in public health education and promotion, I align with brands and partners who share these values - putting people and the planet first while crafting meaningful, responsible travel experiences.
When I’m not researching or scouting new destinations, you’ll find me volunteering with local organizations, practicing yoga, hiking quiet trails, hanging out with my family, my 3 dogs, tending to my chickens, or whipping up something healthy in my kitchen (not my chickens, just their eggs) – always seeking the same sense of connection and inspiration I hope to bring to every traveler I serve.
Terra Path Global Journeys takes its name from the idea that travel can be both grounded and transformative.
Terra is Latin for earth. It speaks to sustainable, eco-minded exploration.
Path evokes movement, whether physical, spiritual, or emotional.
Global reflects the agency’s worldwide reach.
Journeys emphasizes the experience itself, not just the trip.
